I am pleased to announce my candidacy for the Falmouth District Stafford County Board of Supervisors.

Like a lot of people who run for office, I see that things can be better, the incumbent just isn’t getting the job done, and I want to take it on to help my community. I need your support, your volunteer efforts, and your vote. Want to help, join my team, click here.

My Commitment to You

  • increase the transparency of government,
  • fight for the resources we need and deserve, and
  • partner with you pursuing a healthy environment

I am meeting folks where they live to introduce myself and listen to their concerns about county government. I will be constituent focused, helping people navigate the fog of government so that it is clear and connects to people and neighborhoods. I want a county budget that is a reflection of the priorities of our community: good neighborhood schools, support for small businesses and a strong local economy, and measured development that improves the quality of our community and our quality of life. I pursued the same goals while on the Board of Directors of one of the largest homeowner associations in Santa Fe, New Mexico with over 4000 people and 2000 households.

My background is in social work (LCSW, masters in Social Work from FSU, Tallahassee). I worked with victims of domestic violence for 5 years. I have extensive experience in public administration and working for nonprofit agencies, a background I believe will be a tremendous asset on the Stafford County Board of Supervisors.

Currently I do advocacy work for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, and mental health challenges. I know first-hand what being able to reach full potential really means for children and young adults and the absolute necessity of supporting parents and schools so that actually happens.

My wife Janet and I are so pleased to live in Falmouth with its deep connection to history and ease of access to museums, art and culture.
